February has been another busy month, we moved workshops into a bigger and better space in Hume, launched our new price calculator and have been pricing some exciting jobs which will hopefully happen this year.
We HAVE MOVED
We grew out of our old space and have moved to a bigger workshop in Hume, ACT. We are really excited about this move because it means we can work on bigger projects, it has given us space to create a fantastic office space overlooking our workshop and it also has a showroom space for you to come and visit and see our products in person. Note pricing is for manufacture and supply of timber panels only. Wainwright Facades installation costs will be additional.
Custom panel designs are not able to be priced through the calculator. Please email us or fill in the quote form on the website for a project specific quote.

Did you know we also install CORTEN? For The Linkat Ginninderry we installed Corten steel cladding as well as recycled and charred messmate timber cladding externally.

Q. What has been your favourite project to date and why?
A. This is like asking me how to choose my favourite child, how can I just choose just 1? but if I had to it is always the one that is coming up as I’m always eager to start new challenges with the boys
Q. How do you spend your free time, what hobbies?
A. Answering questionnaires and working with wood
Q. If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you do?
A. I might not be showing up tomorrow boss
Q. What’s your favourite food?
A. Anything made out of pig
Q. Who has the worst habit in the company and what is it?
A. Reece, he is adept at spinning lies
Q. Who is your favourite team member and why?
A. Well how could I choose just one with such a well balanced team. I mean you have the youthful enthusiasm of the 3rd and 4th year apprentices always wanting to improve and grow as tradesman, the 1st year apprentice’s with their eagerness to learn, there like sponges at this stage. Than you have the knowledge and experience of the tradesman always pointing the team in the right direction, and what about the girls in the office with their amazing artistic flare and passion leading the companies design and keeping things so organised. But we can’t forget about our fearless leader moving across the world, starting his own business and leading with an iron fist of determination. This company is like an onion, so many layers.

A. I like to move it move it
BUSINESS CLEAN UP DAY RECAP
On Tuesday 26 February 2019 Wainwright Facades employees took part in Clean Up Australia’s Business Clean Up Day. We cleaned up the Remembrance Nature Park in Campbell, taking action to protect our local environment and help clean up before rubbish pollutes our precious parks, bushland, waterways and oceans and kills our wildlife.
In just over an hour we had cleaned up the entire area we allocated for our team, collecting 5 bags of rubbish and 2 bags of recycling. It was a great way to participate in the community and keep the places we love to use looking beautiful for everyone.
