Carbon Footprint Calculator

Everything we do has an impact. From how we commute to work, to what we buy at the grocery store, our lifestyle choices are contributing to our carbon footprint. Did you know Australians have one of the highest personal carbon footprints in the world? The good news is we can change that.

Carbon Positive Australia has developed a free Carbon Footprint Calculator to help you understand your carbon footprint and provide you with tips and practical steps to make positive changes to reduce and offset your emissions.

We are facing a climate emergency so it’s critical we take steps to tread more lightly and restore our precious planet. Get to know your number here

Tree Planting is Underway

June is one of our favourite months because it is tree planting month! All of our donations from the previous year will finally become trees in the ground. Carbon Positive Australia has started planting trees and will continue through to the end of July. Trees are planted in the winter months to give trees the best survival and growth rates.

Carbon Positive Australia plants a biodiverse mix of native trees and shrubs tailored to each planting site. All species planted are indigenous to the site, and where possible seed is collected from or around the planting area. Find out more about the current planting projects here.

This month we are introducing you to one of our team, Aiden Paff with a short Q&A;

Q. What has been your favourite project to date and why?

A. My favourite project would have to be Winnunga because it was my first job with the company and was a good vibe with all the lads.

Q. How do you spend your free time, what hobbies?

A. In my free time you’ll catch me going to the gym, hanging out with friends, listening to music or cracking open a cold one.

Q. If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you do?

A. The first thing I would do is pay all my family’s debts off and buy my mum and dad their dream house.

Q. What’s your favourite food?

A. Favourite food is a good old chicken schnitzel from the club. Can’t go wrong there.

Q. Who has the worst habit in the company and what is it?

A. Hahahaha would have to be Zak. Man never wears his tool belt, does he even own one 👀😂

Q. Who is your favourite team member and why?

A. It’s hard to pick one, all the boys are good.

Q. What quote or motto do you live by?
