Meet an architect - Jeremy Mather

We believe in supporting and promoting connections in our community, so we have decided to introduce you to some of the incredible architects and designers we have had the privilege of working with.

Name: Jeremy Mather

Where do you work: Mather Architecture

What did you want to be when you grew up: Architect or Marine Biologist. Whilst marine biology looked fun, I didn’t like the idea of spending most of my time writing up reports on the fun things I’d been doing. So decided to pursue my original passion of designing structures and seeing them being built.

Something you have always wanted to learn: To be a pilot. Three of my grandparents were pilots. My grandmother was an Australian stunt pilot champion.

What are you currently listening to / reading: Peter Fitzsimon’s ‘Mutiny on the Bounty’

Question you get asked the most at work: What do you think about this? An interesting question that usually gets the reply: What do you think and why?

Favourite part of the job: Working and collaborating with the amazing construction industry personnel building the structures we’ve designed!
