Tree Planting Update
Hi All,
I just wanted to put this message out there as unfortunately this is the first time in the last 21 months where we haven’t been able to get someone to match our tree donations for the month. Times are tough at the moment, as everyone can imagine, and I appreciate first-hand how the priority of every business in today’s climate is survival. However, I just wanted to make a note in here to say that since starting our tree planting programme, we have planted 4,624 trees. This is an outstanding achievement and so many people have contributed towards this, so thank you all.
Carbon Positive Australia is the charity that we donate to, who do all the hard work and get the trees planted. They have been doing this for 20 years and have now planted 6,161,156 trees in Australia, they have captured 668,715 tonnes of carbon and restored over 5000 hectares. Incredible work.
If you are in a position to donate trees, personally or as a business, then please reach out to me and I will let you know the costs involved (it’s a lot more affordable than you think).
I also just wanted to say if you are struggling through these tough times, please reach out to someone for help. Although it may seem like you are alone, you aren’t. Take care.
