WORLD Bee Day Installation
Wainwright Facades worked with Knight Frank to design and build a pop up installation in the foyer of 4 National Circuit, Barton to celebrate World Bee Day 2019. The installation acted as a display and point of sale for their honey which was harvested from the roof of a number of ISPT owned buildings in Canberra. The display also featured educational signs designed to complement the week of activities for the building tenants aiming to educate people about the importance of bees and what we can do to help the declining population of bees.

Honey Harvest Video by ISPT
ISPT put together a fantastic video showing the events that took place over the two-week program of bee education and workshops for World Bee Day in Canberra. Across the two ISPT Canberra precincts these included ‘Rooftop tours & meet the beekeeper’, ‘How to make beeswax wraps’, and ‘Make your own native bee hotel’.
The Canberra ISPT portfolio has 7 beehives across 3 commercial buildings, which produced 30kg of honey for the honey harvest event.
